30 years after the closure, Casacalenda has got a movie theatre again, "Nuovo Cinema Roma" is now open . Thanks to the success achieved by the festival and to the efforts made by the association MoliseCinema , we managed to open a movie theatre in a village with only 2000 inhabitants.

A little "miracle" made possible through passion and civic commitment, which received the prompt support and participation of the citizens.

In the first year of activity more than 30 film premières have been screened, along with many short films and documentaries presented at the festival; it was a great success with the audiences.

The achievements of MoliseCinema are also meant to act as an incentive for the cultural awakening of smaller Italian towns: Small villages, big screen!
