Tulum, for creating a memory of one of the most terrible tragedies of humanity through a straightforward and blunt style and a good metaphorical ability. 6.5 minutes in Tel Aviv, through a functional structure, full of suspense and care for the detail, tries to tell the suspended anguish and the impossibility to meet for two populations engaged in an endless conflict. With this shared award the jury selected two films connected with the themes of memory and the nonsense of conflicts in areas close to our country, which both have led the audience, even for a short while, to meditate.
The director in her first work has shown to have good skills, although still raw. The film shows, even if with some imperfection in the dramaturgical background, to have good grace in telling the uncertainty of adolescence, with a straight and minimal style.
